The holidays are a busy time and it's difficult to always remember to be cyber safe. Let's get right to the main course of this post.

Below are a few tips to stay cyber safe.

  • Look out for fake online shops
  • Be aware for fake charity phishing scams
  • Be careful with online wish lists
  • Watch out for fake delivery emails
  • Be on the lookout for social media scams
  • Don't click pop up ads or coupons
  • Keep an eye on QR codes
  • Be wary of spam texts
  • Avoid shopping on public Wi-Fi
  • Update, patch, and tighten cybersecurity before shopping online
  • Take a "less is more approach on social media
  • Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
  • Avoid public Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and charging stations
